On 8 January 2025, the Director of Centre of IMT-GT Subregional Cooperation (CIMT), Mr. Amri Bukhairi Bakhtiar, paid a courtesy visit to YBhg. Datuk Muhammad Nahar bin Mohd Sidek, Deputy State Secretary (Development) of Negeri Sembilan, at Menara MAINS, Seremban.

During the meeting, CIMT provided an overview of the IMT-GT collaboration framework as well as current projects and initiatives which can benefit the state of Negeri Sembilan. Discussions focused on exploring potential project collaboration, advancing the IMT-GT Green Cities Initiative, and facilitating Negeri Sembilan to leverage on the IMT-GT platform to promote trade and investment, especially with key stakeholders in Sumatera provinces and other potential partners.

This engagement reflects a strong commitment between both sides in fostering sustainable regional development and building impactful partnerships for the future.
